June 25th - The Willoughbys will be on stage from 5:00 to 6:00 at the Richmond Farmers' Market. In their own words: "THE WILLOUGHBYS have a unique spot in the Vermont music scene. No drum set, but congas to drive; no loud electric guitar, but tasty cowboy licks when needed; not one, but four singers able to lead a tune." This talented group is a four-piece band playing music of the American landscape. With original songs and covers from the Americana songbook, they weave their vocal harmonies together with guitars, accordion, mandolin, violin, congas, and bass. Inspiration is drawn from artists such as Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Gillian Welch and the Jayhawks. So come on down and meet Bill Myregaard, Tim Coleman, Debbie Schlosser and Flip Brown. |
